Mrs. Jorge is a proud gradute of CSULB and CSUDH. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies w/Multiple Subject Credential/CLAD and Masters in Administrative Education She has been teaching for 15 years. She has taught first grade, second grade, fourth grade and sixth grade. She has also supported her previous schools in the position of Title 1 and EL Coordinator. She is super excited to be Ritter's Intervention teacher,! She can't wait to help take Ritter from Good to Great! She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is happily married and the mother of a wonderful son (Issac).
Her long lasting favorite teaching moment is when ever she sees student growth! She can see how much students have blossomed and that brings her so much joy because she knows all that hard work has finally paid off!
Classroom Rules: Our classroom rules are in place to provide every student with a safe, secure and respectful learning environment. 1. Listen when others speak. 2. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. 3. Raise your hand to speak. 4. Stay in your seat. 5. Be respectful. 6. Treat others the way you want to be treated. 7. Try Your Best!
Rewards: DOJO point are earned when student is caught being SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE then earn the following: 1. Homework Pass 2. Chatter (Free time) 3. Sit with your buddy for the day 4. Cool Pencils and Erasers 5. Treats.
Consequences: 1. Warning 2. Move your clip down 3. Loss Of Recess 4. Loss of Recess and Lunch 5. Call Home 6. Office *When causing harm or danger to yourself or others.
