Mrs. Monique Choyce
Monique Choyce has been in education since 2002 . She has experience as an educator serving both general and special education students. She joined the Ritter Family in 2015 serving as the current Resource Specialist. She has earned a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Phoenix and a second Masters of Arts degree in Educational Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills. Mrs. Choyce holds a clear multiple subject credential in general education, special education and a preliminary Tier I Administration Credential. She is also a certified Peer Observer where she promotes professional growth and strengthens instructional strategies by way of the Teaching and Learning Framework and Blended Learning. Mrs. Choyce is an active member of the Teacher Advisory Board for the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, Instructional Leadership Team, School Site Council, Student Success Team, Literacy Team, Blended Learning Pioneer, Core Waiver Writing Team Committee, Enrollment Team, Website Committee and CODE.org. She enjoys teaching, observing teacher practice, reading, traveling, and meeting new people. Mrs. Choyce’s motto is “If children can’t learn how we teach, then we must teach how they learn.” She is honored to serve at Ritter as she believes it is a school where she’d send her children.
