Ms. Rangel, who received her teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills, has worked for Los Angeles Unified School District since 2003. She taught English as a Second Language to 6th through 8th grade students at Gompers Middle School and was honored to return to Ritter. Since returning to Ritter, she has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. Currently, she teaches 4th grade. Ms. Rangel is grateful to return to the school because she loves helping students set a foundation of becoming lifelong learners.
Students are given a homework packet every week. It is passed out on Monday and must be returned the next Monday. They have 7 days to complete the packet. The only day they don't have homework is on their birthday.
